This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. This role is a part of the zero-g propellant management team. The team is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performance architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. Join our team and pave the road to a permanent lunar presence! We are looking for a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer with experience developing and manufacturing cryogenic propellant management devices. You will provide technical oversight, requirement development, manufacturing support and hardware ownership on our most challenging cryogenic technical problems. As part of your role you will own hardware from cradle to grave and be responsible for delivering your hardware to the vehicle. Work will include the complete life cycle of the system from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation. You will work with both internal and external suppliers to design, build, test and analyze components that will take us to the moon!
