This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. This role is part of the zero-g propellant management team, which is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performance architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. We are looking for a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer with strong CAD design and drafting skills to support the model-and-drawing side of our cryogenic propellant management hardware. You will support technical requirement development and contribute design/drafting execution on challenging cryogenic technical problems — from concept-level design through release-ready Creo models and drawings. Work will span the life cycle of the system: definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation. You will work with internal and external suppliers to design, model, and detail components that will take us to the moon! Bring your technical expertise, drafting discipline, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
