Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 2+ years experience, OR Master’s degree
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Linux System Administration (installation, hardening, patching)
Cisco networking (configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance)
Network architecture (LANs, routers, NICs, infrastructure design)
Cybersecurity & compliance: RMF, STIGs, vulnerability scanning/remediation
Hands-on experience with network infrastructure deployment (servers, devices, cabling)

RHCSA (Linux)
Security+, Network+, or equivalent
CISSP (advanced)
CCNP (Cisco)
Server+, Linux+
Experience supporting DoD or regulated environments

Responsibilities

Support engineering development and program maintenance environments
Perform Linux system administration (installation, hardening, patching, scanning, and troubleshooting)
Configure and maintain Cisco network equipment (routers, switches, NICs)
Design and implement secure network architectures for small-to-medium environments
Lead and support Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity efforts
Execute vulnerability scanning, remediation, and compliance activities aligned with DoD standards
Perform hands-on infrastructure work including cabling, rack & stack, and hardware installs
Conduct network troubleshooting and performance optimization
Support project planning, cost analysis, and vendor evaluations
Maintain clear technical documentation and reporting
Collaborate across engineering teams while managing multiple concurrent priorities
Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify process enhancements
Travel up to 10% (domestic/international) as needed
