About The Position

This role supports the setup, maintenance, and operation of a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both hardware and Linux-based systems and is comfortable in a fast-paced, technical setting.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with server hardware and components
• Strong comfort working in a Linux environment (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Bash or Python scripting
• Experience with troubleshooting and system maintenance
• Understanding of networking and cabling

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD tools
• Exposure to containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience in data center or HPC environments

Responsibilities

• Perform rack & stack, cabling, and physical setup of servers
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Write and use basic Bash/Python scripts to automate routine tasks
• Set up system monitoring and alerts to ensure uptime
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to ensure smooth operations
