About The Position

This role requires strong Linux administration experience, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse teams to resolve issues and will be proficient in creating, debugging, and implementing automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible. The position also involves mentoring junior staff, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to effectively communicate issues to team members and service owners.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Experience configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux systems.
• Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.
• Self-motivated.
• Willing to learn new technologies.
• Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
• Experience with aws-cli and boto3.
