About The Position

We are seeking a System Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure and supporting day-to-day operations across client/server, storage, network, and mobile device environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, perform system monitoring and troubleshooting, assist users with IT services, and help maintain reliable and secure system operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs or environments of similar scope and complexity
  • Experience working with Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco operating systems
  • Experience administering Linux, Unix, or Windows operating systems
  • Experience installing and managing software packages, including ISO and Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) packages
  • IAT Level I Certification
  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering messaging services such as: Java Messaging Service (JMS), TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka
  • Experience supporting applications within SIGINT environments
  • Certifications or experience related to Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer support abilities
  • Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Provide Help Desk and escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Monitor and maintain day-to-day IT system operations
  • Support client/server, storage, network, and mobile device environments
  • Communicate system status and issue resolution updates to management and internal customers
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues through resolution
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Install and maintain operating system software and related components
  • Configure and maintain network components and system infrastructure
  • Assist users with accessing and utilizing IT systems
  • Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and capacity planning
