About The Position

This position is for an experienced Linux Engineer to support the technical solutions task order for the Executive Office for the U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA) for our customer, the U.S. Attorneys' Office (USAO). The Linux Engineer shall perform the following tasks: Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred) across on‑premise and cloud environments. Implement secure baseline configurations aligned with DOJ, NIST, and federal cybersecurity standards. Manage OS patching, kernel dependences, and system performance tuning. Support enterprise application hosting, web services, databases, and middleware running on Linux platforms. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar tools. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar. Assist with migration, deployment, and administration of Linux workloads in cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).

Requirements

8–10+ years of Linux engineering experience in enterprise or federal environments.
Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9).
Strong proficiency with Bash scripting and at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python preferred).
Hands-on experience with Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware), containers, and cloud computing.
Experience supporting security compliance under federal frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800‑53, STIGs).

Responsibilities
