About The Position

We are seeking talented linguists with a passion for language and technology to join our dynamic translation pool. While marketing specialization is a plus, we welcome experts from all fields. This role involves translating content between Brazilian Portuguese and US English, ensuring cultural nuance and clarity are maintained. You will also edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms, apply current language standards and best practices, evaluate and provide feedback to improve language models, and collaborate with teams to localize content for specific markets. Transcreation, or creatively adapting text to sound natural in the target language, may also be required.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
• A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
• Reliable availability and commitment (minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week expected)
• Ability to submit an updated CV in English
• Ability to pass a test in specific domains of specialization if required

Responsibilities

• Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
• Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for your language-speaking markets.
• Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
• Creatively adapt text beyond the source to ensure it reads naturally in the target language (transcreation) if required.
