About The Position
This is a part-time position at Hope's Closet in Kilgore, TX. The role requires punctuality, dependable attendance, and a professional, friendly, and cooperative attitude towards customers, donors, and co-workers. The ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is essential. Responsibilities include processing and cleaning items according to pricing guidelines, managing stock rotation, assisting donors, maintaining donation records, and issuing receipts. Safety and good housekeeping standards are paramount, including keeping work areas clean and clear of obstructions. Employees must report security and loss prevention concerns to their manager and follow all company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.
Requirements

- Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and clean each item, including seasonal items, using good, better, and best pricing guidelines.
- Responsible for stock rotation in the assigned area of the sales floor, while adhering to proper storage and boxing guidelines for our seasonal items.
- Assist donors as they arrive.
- Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to all donors.
- Work must be conducted safely, maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Keep a well-maintained and clean work area, ensuring all aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers and exits are clear of clutter.
- Report any security and loss prevention concerns to your manager.
- Always follow all policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned by your manager.
