Linen Room Attendant (FT)
About The Position
Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Linen Room Attendant to issue and maintain control of linens and/or uniforms. This role is responsible for accurately fitting team members for uniforms, identifying items in need of repair or replacement, and maintaining accurate records of uniform issuance and returns. The Linen Room Attendant will also complete necessary paperwork for employees responsible for missing or damaged uniforms, ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies, and maintain the cleanliness of the Linen Room area. Other duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
Responsibilities
- Issue and maintain control of linens and/or uniforms.
- Accurately fit team members for uniforms.
- Identify items in need of repair or replacement and communicate need to supervisor.
- Maintain accurate employee uniforms issuance/return records; issue uniforms to new employees.
- Complete proper paperwork for employees who are responsible for missing or damaged uniforms.
- Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of Linen Room area.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
