About The Position

Our Linen Room Attendant's are responsible for issuing and altering all staff uniforms, and are an integral part of our Heart of House at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This is a full-time, permanent role, beginning immediately. Starting Pay Rate: $21.65 per hour. We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.40.

Requirements

• Sewing skills or previous seamstress experience
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Must be guest service oriented
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times
• Issue all staff uniform and dry cleaning
• Take accurate measurements for uniform fittings, perform alterations, and hemming as required
• Manage lost & found items
