About The Position

This position is responsible for running sold room reports, verifying room status, determining discrepant rooms, prioritizing room cleaning, and updating the status of departing guest rooms. The Linen Room Attendant will assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. This role involves documenting and resolving issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk, preparing and distributing room assignments to Housekeeping staff, and recording, monitoring, and updating the list of ‘Do Not Disturb' rooms. The attendant ensures that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list. Completing required Housekeeping paperwork is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and providing excellent guest service are essential. The position also involves developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and using computer systems for work-related information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • None

Responsibilities
