About The Position

The Linen Room Attendant is responsible for operating various laundry equipment, ensuring linen is properly processed and delivered, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role involves exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Ability to operate dryers
• Ability to operate sheet folder
• Ability to operate towel folder
• Ability to shake out linen
• Ability to clean area and blow down machines
• Ability to clean dryers at least 3 times a day
• Ability to load and unload washer
• Ability to deliver clean linen to proper linen closets and record deliveries

Responsibilities

• Operating dryers
• Operating sheet folder
• Operating towel folder
• Shaking out all linen that needs to be done
• Completes other duties as assigned
• Clean area and blow down all machines
• Clean all dryers at least 3 times a day
• Load and unload washer
• Deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries
