About The Position
The Linen Handler is responsible for the collection of soiled linens, distribution of uniform laundry and clean linens to various areas of the Hospital. Sorts, counts, and weighs laundry and linens as required. Maintains appropriate records of counts. Prepares carts with appropriate par levels of supplies/linens for delivery. Organizes items on shelves according to established arrangement and storage instructions.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to lift or move heavy containers
