Requirements

Possess valid Arizona Driver’s License and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.
Ability to drive a cube box style truck, including the expertise to back the truck into tight areas for pickup and delivery and proper use of lift gate.
Ability to meet physical requirements of position, which include repetitive motion of all extremities and the back including continual bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, and long periods of standing/walking.
Ability to push or pull laundry bins loaded with 200 – 250lbs of wet or dry laundry.
Ability to maintain high quality of work and high energy while taking more than 15,000 to 20,000 steps per work day at an elevation of 7,000 feet.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and project the image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our varied customer and employee base.
Maintain the company’s Core Values and Mission Statement in every day work and project that level of service to our guests.
Constantly: Handle.
Frequently: Stand, walk, sit, reach outward/above shoulders, climb, bend, lift/carry up to 100lbs., push/pull up to 100lbs.
Occasionally: Crawl, squat/kneel, lift/carry up to 10lbs., push/pull up to 12lbs.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up linens from collection pick up and distribution points.
Maintain pick and delivery schedules throughout the day.
Assist with Linen Distribution Utility duties as assigned throughout shift.
Adhere to service and maintenance schedule for vehicle, and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
Continually focus on providing exceptional guest service as a primary goal, both in how work is conducted and when interacting with guests.
Use assigned vehicle for pick up/delivery of linens only, unless directed otherwise.
Adhere to all risk management procedures in the lifting, loading and handling of linens, use of machinery, handling of biohazard designated linens and uniforms, and use of detergents and cleaners.
Maintain safe body mechanics and a safe work zone while working and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Complete assigned paperwork accurately and timely.
Maintain key control for all issued keys.
Wear required personal protective equipment or weather appropriate attire for work in all four (4) weather seasons/conditions
Adhere to all Sustainability programs as trained.
Other duties as assigned.
