Linen Attendant - Westchester Medical Center
About The Position
Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth and is seeking a Linen Attendant for its facility at Westchester Medical Center. This is an entry-level position with no prior experience required. The role involves distributing linens to various hospital departments, loading and unloading scrub machines, and stocking shelves. Unitex is a family-run business with over 100 years of experience in the medical uniform and linen rental industry, and is the largest family-owned healthcare service provider in the country with 1900 employees. Requirements
- Must be flexible and available to work various shifts (5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 2:30pm-11pm), including weekends and holidays, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to lift loads of linens and push carts filled with linens (50+ lbs).
- Own transportation/car is needed due to the schedule and lack of direct mass transit to the location if living outside of Westchester County.
Responsibilities
