About The Position

Praxis is hiring a Line Supervisor (also referred to in the posting as a Line Lead) to support its people, processes, and product quality. The role includes an 8-week, hands-on training program and career advancement opportunities. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good organizational skills and mathematical aptitude.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible, spontaneous, and fast-moving in a changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to work and adapt in a diverse environment where multiple languages are spoken.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred.
Prior experience as a supervisor, leader, or trainer strongly preferred.
Two to four years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Check products and components for accuracy on each job on the line.
Assign work areas to packagers and verify that they perform their duties.
Complete line paperwork.
Calculate hourly efficiency and adjust the line as needed.
Check finished-goods quality and request quality assistance when product is questionable.
Request machinery maintenance when problems arise.
Ensure the line is cleaned between jobs and at the end of the shift.
Communicate problems or concerns to the Shift Supervisor.
Anticipate changes and respond accordingly.
Maintain efficient productivity while following safety, quality, and GMP practices.
