About The Position

The Line Service Technician is responsible for performing duties related to aircraft arrival and servicing, including guiding aircraft, towing, fueling, and providing customer assistance. This role also involves facility inspections, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring smooth communication between shifts. The technician will handle housekeeping duties and may be required to fuel commercial aircraft. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor or director.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license at all times
Meet Airport Authority requirements for badge and have no ramp restrictions.

Responsibilities

Perform duties related to aircraft arrival, including meeting aircraft, guiding pilots in parking, and setting wheel chocks.
Tow aircraft into service areas, hangars, or to customer-requested locations.
Fuel aircraft with appropriate fuel types, adhering to regulations and FAA guidelines.
Provide customer services such as carrying/unloading luggage and arranging transportation.
Communicate customer requests for service to customer service representatives.
Perform facility inspections to ensure hangar doors are closed and equipment is secured.
Fuel vehicles and perform simple maintenance checks.
Communicate with other shifts for smooth duty transitions.
Handle miscellaneous housekeeping duties in customer service lounge/line office areas.
Handle customer service duties such as invoices, credit card settlements, cash drawer counts, and work log entry (for 3rd shift).
Fuel commercial aircraft at airport terminals as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/director.
