About The Position

The Line Server is responsible for the final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. The role may receive direction from a kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure quality service. The position is full time, 40 hours per week, with days and hours varying. It is located at Texas Health Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas. One year of previous food service experience is required. The pay range is $16.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• One year of previous food service experience.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
• Participate in preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control, including HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• Clean work areas and equipment used in food preparation and service.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
• Cooperate with staff from other departments in performing job duties.
• Contribute to the team and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
