About The Position
The Line Server is responsible for the final preparation of food items served in the food-service area, following applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. The role may be directed by a kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure quality service. The position is based at Amex DC Reagan in Arlington, Virginia, and is a full-time role scheduled for 40 hours per week, with days and hours that may vary. Further schedule details are provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Previous food-service experience is preferred, but not required; the employer is willing to train.
- Ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
- Participate in preparing and serving food and beverages in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, HACCP and OSHA guidelines, and portion control.
- Clean work areas and equipment used in food preparation and service.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Deliver food items to and from the main kitchen.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents, self, and staff.
- Cooperate with employees from other departments in performing job duties.
- Contribute to the team and demonstrate professionalism with customers, colleagues, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
