About The Position

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is a technology-driven company that designs, engineers, and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. This role is located at our facility in Nisku, and reliable transportation is required for commuting. The position offers a Monday to Thursday night shift (6 PM - 5:30 AM) or rotating days (6 AM to 6 PM, including weekends). The Line Runner/Material Handler is responsible for various duties including loading, unloading, and moving products and materials to designated locations within the warehouse and plant, and assisting with picking and placing materials orders. This role also involves checking received orders and ensuring all inventory transactions are completed and documented.

Requirements

Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Ability to work independently.
Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Time management skills.
Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).
Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.
May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials.
Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
Participate in clean-up of yard and facility.
Perform all duties in accordance with silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
Perform other duties as assigned.
