Line/Rail Associate
About The Position
Hillandale Farms is in search of a Rail/Line Worker to join our team in Hillandale Farms, Lebanon CT! This is the job at the end of the processing line in which the person packs the shipping containers on pallets. They are responsible for keeping brands and sizes separate from one another. They are responsible for maintaining the tape machine. They are responsible for keeping the packing area supplied with the appropriate packing materials. At the conclusion of processing they are to prepare their area in an acceptable fashion for the next day. They are also aware of the necessary steps to shut down the case sealer. They are aware of the safe procedures to reload the case sealer tape heads.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
- Repetitive lifting, squatting, twisting, turning, kneeling and bending.
Responsibilities
- Pack shipping containers on pallets at the end of the processing line.
- Keep brands and sizes separate from one another.
- Maintain the tape machine.
- Keep the packing area supplied with appropriate packing materials.
- Prepare the area in an acceptable fashion for the next day at the conclusion of processing.
- Shut down the case sealer.
- Reload the case sealer tape heads safely.
