About The Position

This position is for a Line Operator working the 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM shift. The role involves promoting a safe working environment, ensuring machines function safely and in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards, and understanding bottle quality requirements. The operator will sustain efficiency and scrap on production machines to meet company goals, communicate machine, process, and quality issues, and troubleshoot problems. Minor mechanical repairs and daily housekeeping tasks are also part of the responsibilities. The role requires promoting a teamwork atmosphere by assisting in various tasks such as housekeeping, organizing, packing, transporting, erecting corrugated materials, and performing rework. Performance of master cleaning tasks when necessary and compliance with supervisor directions are expected. The operator will also perform minor repairs to machines during their shift and complete quality inspections, recording them in WinSPC software. Mechanical and process-related troubleshooting on machines and equipment, and adherence to GDP, Safety, and PPE guidelines are essential. The job also involves lifting 35 lb. bags of resin/concentrate, climbing ladders, and standing for the entirety of the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe working environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure machines are functioning safely in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards.
  • Understand bottle quality requirements and document them.
  • Sustain efficiency and scrap on production machines to meet company goals.
  • Effectively communicate machine, process, and quality related issues.
  • Diagnose problems and logically troubleshoot tasks.
  • Make minor mechanical repairs.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Promote a "teamwork" atmosphere by assisting where needed in housekeeping, organizing, packing, transporting corrugated, erecting corrugated, performing rework.
  • Perform master cleaning tasks when necessary.
  • Comply with directions from supervisors and managers.
  • Perform minor repairs to the machines during their shift.
  • Complete quality inspections and record them in WinSPC software.
  • Perform mechanical and process related troubleshooting on machines and equipment.
  • Follow GDP, Safety and PPE Guidelines.
  • Lift 35 lb. bags of resin / concentrate.
  • Climb ladders and stand on feet for the entirety of the shift.
