Line Operator / Plater 2nd Shift
About The Position
This is a full-time position on the second shift, operating Monday through Thursday. The role involves processing parts in tanks according to specifications, work orders, and other requirements. Responsibilities include calculating processing times, removing and rinsing parts, immersing them in baths, and completing required paperwork. The Line Operator/Plater will also oversee and assist line assistants to optimize throughput, evaluate and log preventative maintenance on the processing line, and ensure correct disposal of hazardous waste materials. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
- Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
- Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
- Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
- Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
- Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
- Other duties as assigned
