About The Position

Assists in the mechanical setup and repairs of production equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Lead Man. All tasks are performed according to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMPs).

Requirements

• Must be able to follow Company SOPs and cGMP guidelines
• Must be able to read, write and communicate
• Must be able to work in a fast paced production environment
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge and proper application of hand and power tools.
• Good oral communication
• Must possess general knowledge of basic math skills, count, add and subtract.
• Must be able to analyze and interpret data relating to various projects and report issues and problems that arise.
• Must be able to focus on work assignments to ensure goals and timelines are met.
• Must be able to apply knowledge of Company policies and cGMPs in the manufacturing area

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Services and troubleshoots mechanical equipment on production lines to optimize efficiency.
• Performs production line change over and set-up, and assists in sanitizing of machines.
• Complies with all SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), CGMP’s (Current and Good Manufacturing Practices), state and federal government requirements, OSHA, and fire code regulations.
• Assists with physical inventory counts as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
