Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
Ability to read and write basic English
Good listening and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to effectively drive the production team to meet standards

Responsibilities

Lead daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
Oversee production area start-ups, shutdowns, and line changeovers.
Verify materials used in production against Bill of Materials requirements.
Maintain continuous output and accurate documentation of daily production performance and issues.
Direct and support production team members, providing backup coverage during breaks or absences.
Ensure compliance with work orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety requirements.
Perform routine quality checks, including visual inspections and audits.
Enter data into Syspro for job closure and pallet placard printing.
Track performance and train/coach operators.
Enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements, promoting a strong safety culture.
Maintain a clean, organized, and 5S-compliant manufacturing environment.
Motivate, engage, and support team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
