About The Position

The Line Lead supports the Team Lead by providing hands-on leadership and operational support to packing associates. The role helps ensure assigned lines run efficiently and safely while remaining clean and organized. The Line Lead is expected to identify problems proactively and recommend performance improvements to the Team Lead.

The position involves guiding packing associates, supporting training and onboarding, monitoring line performance, helping with shift changeovers, and ensuring packing procedures are followed for quality and efficiency. Work takes place on a cold production floor with exposure to machinery and produce. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in a production or packing environment.
• Experience in a leadership or team-support role in a food production setting.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• English proficiency is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Some college coursework or leadership training.
• Basic food safety or OSHA certification.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead in managing daily activities on assigned lines.
• Ensure the line is clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Provide guidance and direction to packing associates during shifts.
• Monitor line performance and suggest improvements.
• Communicate issues or concerns to the Team Lead.
• Assist in training and onboarding new associates.
• Ensure packing procedures are followed for quality and efficiency.
• Support shift changeovers and completion of daily tasks.
