About The Position

The Line Lead leads and motivates team performance in quality, cost, accuracy, and speed within a manufacturing production line. The role arranges daily team activities to support smooth workflow, quality production, and timely delivery. The position works in a production/manufacturing environment and requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as walking, standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Vision is needed to validate and enter data on a computer.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience and people leadership experience.
• Strong leadership capability and experience.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge, including 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and understanding technical drawings.
• General computer skills, including email and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Give direction and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, packaging, shipping and receiving, and general facility maintenance as needed.
• Project staffing needs for daily and future production.
• Monitor machinery, processes, and work layouts and recommend improvements.
• Conduct safety and training programs for the production line as needed.
• Mentor line staff and facilitate problem solving.
• Maintain and coach standard work practices across all processes.
• Arrange daily team activities to support smooth workflow, quality production, and timely delivery.
