About The Position

The Line Lead / Supervisor supports daily production operations by coordinating team members, monitoring production flow, ensuring safety and quality expectations are followed, and helping the team meet production goals. This role serves as a key point of communication between production employees, supervisors, quality, maintenance, and staffing support.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • English proficiency, spoken and written.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
  • Demonstrated consistent work history and job longevity.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and understanding units of measurement.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees, supervisors, and support departments.
  • Leadership and team coordination.
  • Strong communication and accountability.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to follow and enforce safety, GMP, and quality standards.
  • Problem-solving and ability to escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)

  • Previous production, manufacturing, or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production line employees during daily operations.
  • Monitor production flow to ensure products are packed, assembled, labeled, and processed according to work instructions.
  • Communicate production goals, expectations, and updates to team members.
  • Ensure employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices, safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Assist with line setup, changeovers, material readiness, and end-of-shift cleanup.
  • Track attendance, staffing needs, production issues, and employee concerns.
  • Identify quality, safety, or performance concerns and report them to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Coach employees on proper procedures, productivity expectations, and workplace behavior.
  • Assist with documentation, production records, and other required paperwork.
  • Work closely with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production leadership to resolve issues in a timely manner.
