About The Position

The Line Labor team member is responsible for supporting poultry processing operations by performing various production line duties in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and helps ensure products are processed according to Tyson Foods' safety, quality, food safety, and animal welfare standards. Duties may vary based on production needs and assigned department. This role is similar to general production positions that support multiple areas of the poultry processing line.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform production line tasks as assigned throughout the poultry processing operation.
Handle, inspect, sort, trim, package, and process poultry products according to specifications.
Maintain production flow while meeting quality and efficiency standards.
Follow all food safety, USDA, sanitation, and animal welfare requirements.
Monitor products for defects and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Safely operate equipment and tools associated with assigned duties.
Follow all Tyson Foods safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with line changeovers, cleanup, and sanitation activities as needed.
Work effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
