About The Position

Line Cooks are Kitchen, or “Heart of House,” Team Members who help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The role focuses on preparing food according to Chili’s recipes, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, communicating with Team Members, and maintaining a continuous flow of food orders. The position may be scheduled part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
• Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
