Position: Line Cook Reports To: Senior Sous Chef Summary: The Line Cook supports kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring cleanliness. This role assists the Senior Sous Chef and helps deliver excellent dining experiences.
Requirements
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail
- Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for cooking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or culinary training
- Prior experience as a Line Cook in hospitality or a high-quality restaurant
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and quality standards
- Organize workstations and manage food prep efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food storage
- Operate kitchen equipment safely
- Monitor food quality, portions, and presentation
- Assist with inventory, deliveries, and stock control
- Support team during busy periods and communicate with kitchen staff
