About The Position
Tucker's Italian is hiring a full-time line cook for their scratch-made Southern Italian kitchen. This role offers the opportunity to work with fresh ingredients and traditional techniques, including baking bread, making handmade pasta, curing meats, and cooking over a wood-fired grill. The kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Family meal is provided every shift. Tucker's Italian is located at 1338 E. Houston St., near downtown San Antonio and the Alamodome.
Requirements
- Knife skills are a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Prepping food for service
- Long-term projects such as curing and smoking meats
- Small-item butchery
- Working the line during one or more meal periods
- Scheduled deep cleaning
