EXPERIENCED LINE COOK – DAYS, NIGHTS & WEEKENDS
About The Position
Cypress Street Pint & Plate is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join their Back-of-House team. They are looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen professionals who can perform under pressure while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork. The restaurant is located in Midtown Atlanta and is known for its lively atmosphere, late-night service, and high-volume kitchen, creating an exciting environment for cooks who enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a professional kitchen team. The role involves working at stations such as Sauté and Fry.
Requirements
- Previous line cook, sauté cook, fry cook experience required
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants strongly preferred
- Late-night availability strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Work assigned stations during service while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Complete station setup and stocking before service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout each shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and management
- Support fellow team members during busy service periods
- Complete kitchen closing duties and station breakdowns
