About The Position

Cypress Street Pint & Plate is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join their Back-of-House team. They are looking for dependable, hardworking kitchen professionals who can perform under pressure while maintaining quality, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork. The restaurant is located in Midtown Atlanta and is described as a local favorite neighborhood haunt with a lively atmosphere, late-night service, and a high-volume kitchen. This environment is exciting for cooks who enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a professional kitchen team.

Requirements

  • Previous line cook, sauté cook, fry cook experience required
  • Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants strongly preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
  • Days, nights, and weekends are required
  • Holiday availability required
  • Late-night availability strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Work assigned stations during service while maintaining speed and accuracy
  • Complete station setup and stocking before service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout each shift
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and management
  • Support fellow team members during busy service periods
  • Complete kitchen closing duties and station breakdowns
