Located inside the new Fisherman's Market retail store at Richmond Yards, Monte's Lunch is a fresh take on quick-service seafood rooted in authentic East Coast flavour and hospitality. From lobster rolls and chowder to unique seafood offerings, Monte's Lunch is focused on delivering high-quality food, genuine hospitality and an experience that feels distinctly Atlantic Canadian in a approachable, energetic environment. As part of the Fisherman’s Market family — proudly built on the values of Quality, Service, Variety & Value since 1948 — our team is passionate about creating an experience customers will genuinely remember. Requirements

  • Experience in a kitchen environment (professional or personal—we value passion!)
  • Strong knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure and work as part of a team
  • Interest in seafood, sustainability, and local ingredients
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking seafood dishes with precision and care
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
  • Supporting prep and plating during busy hours
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
  • Bringing creativity and consistency to every dish
