About The Position
The Line Cook is a Heart of House Team Member responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift by preparing food according to Chili’s recipes and procedures, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, and keeping food orders moving. The role calls for dependable, fast service and effective teamwork in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
