Requirements
- 1–2 years of cooking experience preferred
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in managing and upholding a safe working environment
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Must be dependable
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
- Must be able to take direction
Responsibilities
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
- Assist Food and Beverage Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory
- Understand how to properly use and maintain the equipment
- Perform necessary clean-up, sanitation, equipment cleaning and maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager
- Assist with product receiving and/or storage of products
- Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
