About The Position

Camps Kitchen | Bar is seeking experienced, dependable, and passionate Line Cooks to join our Back of House team. Camps Kitchen | Bar is East Cobb's signature dinner destination, where thoughtfully crafted cuisine, expertly curated cocktails, and genuine hospitality come together to create memorable dining experiences. Requirements

• Previous line cook experience in a full-service restaurant is required
• Strong understanding of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume dinner service
• Excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques
• Ability to follow recipes, plating standards, and portion specifications consistently
• Strong sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the entire kitchen
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A desire to grow professionally within our culinary team
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures

Nice To Haves

• Multiple years of recent kitchen experience is strongly preferred
• Experience working multiple stations including sauté, grill, pantry, and pizza is preferred
• At least two years of recent full-service restaurant line cook experience is preferred
• Experience in an elevated casual or chef-driven kitchen is strongly preferred
• Pizza experience a plus!
• SERV Safe certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Execute assigned station with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
• Maintain proper food quality, portion control, and presentation
• Ensure all food is prepared safely and served at the proper temperature
• Assist with daily prep and station setup before service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
• Communicate effectively with the Chef, Kitchen Manager, and fellow cooks throughout service
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Properly label, rotate, and store all food products
• Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory when needed
• Complete opening, running, and closing duties each shift
• Support banquet, catering, and special event food production as needed
• Work collaboratively to ensure timely ticket execution during busy service periods
• Help maintain a positive, professional kitchen culture
