About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for each shift by delivering dependable, fast service. They prepare food by following Chili’s recipes and procedures, keep orders moving from the kitchen, and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The role calls for teamwork and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
