About The Position

The Line Cook position is for someone with a passion for food, whether they are looking to enter the kitchen or have previous experience. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with opening the pizza line before the restaurant opens. Old Scratch Pizza is seeking individuals who are nice, honest, punctual, not afraid of hard work, and can perform well under heat and pressure. The ideal candidate enjoys food and dining and wants to work with like-minded people.

Requirements

Ability to meet physical requirements including standing and walking for extended periods
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to operate and use various kitchen equipment and tools
Ability to communicate and avoid dangerous situations
Ability to perform substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
Ability to maneuver in walk-in coolers and freezers
Nice, honest, punctual attitude
Ability to hold up well under heat and pressure

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in professional kitchens
Restaurant Experience Preferred (but, we will train the right person)
