Requirements
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience with craft cocktails and tiki culture
- Experience in casual fine dining and high-volume restaurants
- Knowledge of Hawaiian culture and rum
- Experience with sustainability practices
- Experience creating daily specials
- Experience cooking and creating at home
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Honu recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and daily kitchen tasks
- Ensure food quality, portion accuracy, and timely service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
