About The Position

We are seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. Line Cook is responsible for the plan, prep, set up and quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials. Position starts ASAP and runs through October. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Requirements

  • Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.

Responsibilities

  • Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day
  • Organize all of the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service
  • Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guide
  • Inform the Sous Chef of any shortages before the item runs out
  • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements
  • Breakdown work station and complete closing duties
  • Wrap, cover, label and date all items being put away.
  • Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
