About The Position

Aztec Grill is seeking a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. The role involves following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards, and ensuring timely, accurate food service. The ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure. The shift is days, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Have or be able to obtain a food handler permit within 30 days, as required by the county, city, or state.
• Demonstrate a passion for friendly, fast, high-quality service.
• Have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Be a dependable team player who can think quickly and adapt.
• Show a commitment to doing the right thing.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as store needs require.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food service, quick-service, or retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to store recipes.
• Prepare food quickly and safely.
• Follow all food-safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock and prepare ingredients for daily use.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
