Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience of food preparation, preferably in an upscale/fine dining restaurant.
  • Basic supervision of the line.
  • Full knowledge of the Health Department regulations regarding sanitation and food handling.
  • Full knowledge of all stations in the kitchen and mastery of each.
  • Understanding and interest in the collaboration between food and health.
  • Understanding of managing gluten free diets.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the freshest, clean, organic ingredients, techniques and presentations.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our culinary culture in Tucson.
  • Cultivate hand crafted artisanal cuisine showcasing sustainable growing, sourcing and cooking techniques.
  • Prepare ingredients simply with health in mind while striving to remain locavore in nature.
  • Ensure all aspects of presentations are clean while contributing to contemporary trends.
  • Develop within lasting teams through collaboration and engagement.
