About The Position

BriteLife Recovery is seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate cook to join their team. This role will be responsible for running the back-of-house operations, assisting in daily kitchen operations, overseeing the kitchen to ensure the highest quality of cuisine is served to clients, and meeting all food and labor cost goals. The company is a mission-centered behavioral health organization focused on providing addiction treatment and recovery services. BriteLife Recovery has locations in Hanover, PA, Hilton Head Island, SC, and West Kill, NY.

Requirements

High School Diploma
1-2 years of casual dining experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License
Current ServeSafe Certification and/or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Assisting in weekly menu development and food preparation.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Assisting in the inventory of all food service items and supplies as directed.
Ensuring orderly storage and cleanliness of all areas and items within the kitchen, dining room, and other food storage, meal service, and disposal areas.
Demonstrating knowledge of safe food handling and preparation.
