About The Position

The Haywire & The Ranch brand is looking for our next great Line Cook! We need a Line Cook who treats our Guests like family joining us for Sunday dinner. Everybody’s taken care of here and welcomed with open arms. We are a Texas Tried and Texas True restaurant delivering farm to fork, chef-driven cuisine. We provide a locally sourced menu that guests can depend on every time, so cowboy up - it’s time to impress!

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand tickets and recipes.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification.
  • Participate in the E-Verify program for employment eligibility verification.

Nice To Haves

  • Steak house experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items correctly with attention to detail.
  • Understand and execute cooking techniques and menu builds.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Take the safety of the food, guests, and team seriously.
  • Inspire teammates and be available for assistance.
  • Balance Texas hospitality with efficiency.
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city, and company regulations.
