About The Position

Ring the dinner bell! The Haywire & The Ranch brand is looking for our next great Line Cook! Company's Comin' and that means we need a Line Cook who treats our Guests like family joining us for Sunday dinner. Everybody’s taken care of here and welcomed with open arms. We are a Texas Tried and Texas True restaurant delivering farm to fork, chef-driven cuisine. We provide a locally sourced menu that guests can depend on every time, so cowboy up - it’s time to impress!

Requirements

Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus
Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
Must be at least 18 years of age

Possess a Texas-sized hustle paired with genuine hospitality
Pride themselves on attention to detail to make sure every menu item has been prepared correctly and every detail is perfect
Know the cooking techniques and menu builds like the back of their hands
Understand the importance of a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen environment and take the safety of the food, guests and team seriously
Inspire their teammates to ask them for help
Understand the balance of Texas hospitality and efficiency
Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city, and company regulations
