About The Position
Line Cooks are part of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to Chili’s recipes, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and help ensure orders flow continuously from the kitchen. The role calls for a friendly, caring demeanor and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Chili’s is a casual dining company founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1975, with a focus on service and hospitality. The position offers flexible part-time or full-time schedules, growth opportunities, and a team-oriented culture. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
