About The Position
Line Cooks, referred to at Chili's as Heart of House Team Members, are responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. The role involves preparing food according to Chili's recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, communicating ticket times, and keeping food orders flowing continuously. Team Members contribute to a safe and welcoming environment while working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
